Let’s be real—there’s a lot going on in the world right now. People are trying to budget, invest, recycle, shop ethically, and somehow still look good while doing it. And if you’re anything like me, you want to show up looking like money without necessarily spending all your money… or at least spending it the right away ;)

But here’s the thing: you don’t always have to spend a fortune to dress like you did. The real trick? Balance. Mixing high and low, knowing when to splurge, when to save, and how to serve luxury energy—no matter what’s on the tag.

Skirt Set: Fashion Nova. Purse: Jacquemus

Sandals: Walgreens… yes you read that right!

Where to Splurge: Because Some Things Just Need to Last

Let’s talk investment pieces—things worth throwing down some cash for. A good handbag? Absolutely. A perfume that leaves a trail? Worth it. Jewelry that won’t turn your skin green? Non-negotiable. Jewelry that increases in value over time? Jackpot!

A classic trench coat, a quality leather bag…these are the things that level up any outfit. And the best part? You can throw on a $20 dress, add one of these luxe pieces, and girl, suddenly you look like you own the restaurant!

Where to Save:  Budget-Friendly Doesn’t Mean Boring

Now, let’s talk about the fun part—finding those gems that don’t break the bank. Some of my favorite pieces? Thrift store finds, random online boutiques ;) , and the occasional I can’t believe I found this here moment at Marshalls.

Trendy pieces? Save your money. Trends change quickly, so it’s best to grab these at a price that won’t make you hesitate to switch it up next season.

Wardrobe basics matter. A well-fitting dress, a great clutch, or a simple top with the right accessories can create a look that feels high-end without the high price tag.

Accessories make the outfit. A statement clutch (like the ones at The Cora Collection!) can take even the most simple outfit and turn it into something special.

It’s Not About the Price, It’s About the Energy

At the end of the day, the real secret to looking expensive is confidence. I don’t care if you’re rocking designer from head to toe or if your entire outfit cost less than brunch—if you feel good, you’ll look good.

That’s why there’s no one way to be stylish. Some people love their designer collections, others love a good thrift haul, and some of us? We love a little bit of both.

So mix it up, have fun, and remember: whether your bag is Chanel or from a flea market in Paris, the real flex is knowing you can make anything look like luxury.

With style & grace,
